The Mayor and Board of Commissioners meet on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 P.M. in the Community Meeting Room located at 101 Carroll Street in Englewood, Tennessee. Public Hearings begin at 5:30 P.M.
Citizens are encouraged to attend all town meetings.
We are currently accepting bid packets for a new 4X4 4 door pickup truck for the maintenance department. Bid packets must be submitted by March 7, 2014 at 12:00 PM. Please call City Hall for more information at 423-887-7224.

History of Englewood
Englewood was established in 1870, two miles southeast of the location where two railroad lines crossed, and was originally known as Tellico Junction.
Several shops, mills and houses were built to take advantage of the railroad construction. By 1907, the Eureka Cotton Mill moved there and became the primary establishment in town.
Absolutely no skateboarding on city property. The city does not have insurance to cover injuries from accidents that may occur from skateboarding. Please do not disregard this notice. If you receive an injury from skateboarding the city will not be liable.

For example if you choose the BIS payment option for a $180.00 citation payment it will cost you $5.40; if you choose the PAYMENTUS option for the same amount you will pay $2.95.
