If you have any questions please call City Hall at 423-887-7224 on normal business days between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.

Please note that Paymentus charges a CONVENIENCE fee for this service. Utility payments and citations are charged $3.50 per transaction and property tax payments are charged 2.65% per the amount of the bill.

The Town of Englewood does not receive any of the convenience fees.

The McMinn County Clerks will be at the Englewood Community Center
on the second Tuesday of each month beginning in September 2011
from 9-3:30 P.M. to perform registrations and tag renewals

Englewood Water and Gas Department will charge a $35.00 service charge on all utility accounts which are not paid by the 20th of each month. If you contact the utility department requesting more time to pay, you will still be charged this service fee. Please do not ask the clerks to waive this fee due to the fact that the Board of Commissioners voted on April 11, 2011 to make this mandatory.

WE ARE NO LONGER MAILING OUT FINAL NOTICES FOR UTILITY BILLS. PAYMENTS ARE DUE- WITHOUT PENALTY -BY THE 10TH OF THE MONTH. THE GROSS AMOUNT WILL THEN BE DUE AND MUST BE PAID BY THE 20TH TO KEEP THE SERVICE(S) FROM BEING DISCONNECTED.

IF YOU SMELL NATURAL GAS

Call Englewood City Hall at 423-887-7224 weekly from 8-4:30

After normal operating hours call Dispatch at 423-745-3222

Natural gas is odorless therefore we add an odorant which smells like

rotten eggs. If you ever smell this odor please open windows or doors and go

outside. Call us from a neighbor’s house, do not turn any electrical switches on or off
